Firstly, I apologise for being away so long. The work load increased quite dramatically at college towards the end and I was really busy. However, I will attempt to post more often. In the meantime, I would just like to add a little note about where I am now…
Well, believe it or not, today was the last assessment I had for my Access course. It is all over bar the shouting!
I have all the required credits to pass the course, although, I am waiting for the final 9 credits and hoping they are distinctions! If they are, I will be celebrating! 🙂
It has been one hell of a first leg of my journey. I have really enjoyed my time here and I have met some really great people! If you are reading this, you know who you are.
It hasn’t all been roses, however the good has most certainly outweighed the bad. I would highly recommend the Access course to anyone that plans on going to university after a break. It definitely prepares you for being back in education. I would also have to say that if you are in Kent and can make it to K College (West Kent College) that you should sign up with them. The teachers are great and the whole atmosphere is wonderful; if you are interested in philosophy, Jim Mawby is a great teacher!
Anyhow, I am now just waiting for my final marks, then about 3 months off until university starts. I can’t wait!
